I turn a brief into a successful design solution with an approach to graphic design that is heavily ideas focused and creatively driven. A well crafted, witty and intelligent design solution leads to:
- A confident brand identity
- A perfectly communicated message
- A positive reaction from your audience
After seeking out clever, witty and intelligent graphic design solutions I explore ways in which the solution can translate across a wide range of applications such as:
- Brand mark
- Corporate communications
- Retail packaging
- Printed communications
- Advertising
- Web design & development

From the initial brief I begin researching and emersing myself in the project’s subject matter. During this time I will want to communicate with you about your business or product as it is now, and how you see it moving forward.
I identify and get to know your main competitors, your audience and your unique point of difference. This analysis brings to the surface exactly what problems the design solution needs to solve. The effective deliverables (Brand Identity, Communications, Packaging, Web Design…) are then designed and produced. Each phase of the project is monitored and signed off accordingly.
All design solutions are followed up with the appropriate support tools (Brand Guidelines, Website Usage Guidelines, etc…). These support tools are an important accompaniment to the final designs and ensure a clearly defined and coherent use of your new assets. Ongoing management and support for your project’s implementation is crucial. This involves constant monitoring and reviewing at every stage.

I’m a middleweight designer at Carter Wong Design – London. Carter Wong design identities for household brands, large global organisations and ethical companies.
My career started out in web development and Search Engine Optimisation. But my passion for creativity lead me to go back to art school and study graphic design. I graduated from the Norwich University College of the Arts (NUCA) in 2010 with a BA Hons degree in graphic design. I have five years combined agency and freelance experience.
I regularly work with a good variety of clients in my day job at Carter Wong Design – including; Cafedirect, howies, Lloyds of London, FMCG brands and The National Trust.
I don’t offer ‘Free Pitching’ because it promotes a culture of increasingly poor quality graphic designers and third rate graphic design.
